Operation 1500 trees
We realize the important role trees play in the carbon cycle. They clean up the air and take carbon off the atmosphere. This is because trees breathe in carbon and breath out oxygen. While we as human beings breathe in oxygen (which the trees breath out) and breath out carbon di oxide.
Carbon which is produced by fossil fuels burned by man enables the trees to live. Just as oxygen does to us. So you realize the importance of trees? They are a big tool to combatting climate change.
They also help to check desertification and serve as wind breaks. We must plant trees as though our lives depend on it.
We are not relenting in our efforts to save the planet. Our Annual target is to plant 1500 trees yearly every August.
Glow Initiative for Economic Empowerment is a non-governmental organization that is set up to harness the economic potentials of communities.
