Our organization – Glow Initiative for Economic empowerment gets featured on NTA’s grassroots Development documentary Program as an outstanding grassroots Development in recognition of our Widows Empowerment Initiative where we constructed a Cassava Processing Factory for 200 widows and trained them on climate smart practices of cassava planting, harvesting and processing. This initiative provided food and employment opportunities for them and improved the economic situation of the community.

Mandela Washington Fellowship for young African leaders Award
Our founder wins the President Obama Mandela Washington Fellowship for young African leaders Award. Herself alongside with 40 other young leaders travelled to the U.S for a period of 7 weeks academic and leadership exposure. She met with President Obama, received an honorary handshake from him and a certificate signed by him.

Our founder is named the Nigerian Energy Champion during the Nigerian Energy Awards of the Nigerian Alternative Energy Expo for the teams great work on climate change education and sustainable energy.

Our founder gets a prestigious honor and recognition for the teams work in combating climate change through increasing awareness to improve climate literacy and promoting the use of renewable energy to attain a sustainable environment. Glow Initiative for Economic Empowerment is a non-governmental organization that is set up to harness the economic potentials of communities. It seeks to tackle economic problems such as unemployment, poverty and climate change through exploiting and utilizing raw talents and resources of communities and through education to curb climate illiteracy. Our whole goal is to boost the economic development of Nigeria by pioneering investments in SMEs creation and training, agriculture and renewable energy.
